night's terrorist attacks in Paris, and victims come from at least a dozen countries, according to The Guardian.
They include a music journalist who was at the Bataclan concert hall that was overtaken by attackers wearing suicide vests, a California university junior who was studying in France, and a 26-year-old criminal attorney who was attending a concert at the Bataclan.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to receive donations for Nick Alexander, a man who worked for the California-based rock band, Eagles of Death Metal. Alexander was identified as the first British victim of the attacks.

Nohemi Gonzalez, from El Monte, California, was a junior studying design. She was in the middle of a semester studying abroad at Strate College of Design in Paris.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti tweeted Saturday, "My heart goes out to the Gonzalez family who lost their Nohemi last night. We mourn for all victims, including one of our own."
According to the Los Angeles Times, 16 more CSULB students were in Paris on the study-abroad program, but they are unharmed, the newspaper reports.

Nick Alexander, 36, reportedly became the first identified British victim of the terror attacks that rumbled Paris Friday night. He was part of the crew working for the California-based rock band, Eagles of Death Metal.

Guillaume B. Decherf was a French music journalist who had just reviewed the Eagles of Death Metal band.
The rock group was set to perform at the Bataclan concert hall when the terror attacks began. SPIN Magazine reports that Decherf had recently reviewed the band's most recent album.

Valentin Ribet, 26, was attending the Eagles of Death Metal concert, according to The Guardian. The London School of Economics where Ribet had taken classes tweeted, "Our hearts are filled with sadness at this news."
Ribet's company called him "a talented lawyer, extremely well liked, and a wonderful personality in the office."
Luis Felipe Zschoche Valle, 35

Valle is one of three Chilean citizens who are among the victims, according to that country's foreign ministry, as cited by CNN. Valle was a married musician who had been living in Paris for eight years.
A friend wrote on Twitter, "Tu guitarra sonará siempre," in English, "Your guitar will always sound."

Football star Lass Diarra posted a tribute to his cousin, Asta Diakite, who was killed in the Paris attacks. Diarra said of his cousin, "She was for me a point of reference, a support, a big sister."
Diarra was reportedly playing against the German national team at the Stade de France when the attacks began Friday.

Thomas Ayad was an employee of the Universal Music Group label, Mercury Records. Ayad's colleagues confirmed that the international product manager was killed while attending the Eagles of Death Metal concert Friday night.
He was among the scores of patrons inside the Bataclan concert hall that was overtaken by the attackers.
UMG chairman and CEO Lucian Grainge said in a statement to employees, "We are a family. Let's support each other as we grapple with the weight of this darkness."

Hoche, another attendee at the Bataclan, worked as a cameraman for the news outlet France 24. Le Figaro reports Hoche was the father of a 6-year-old child.

Delplace, a founder with the company Pro'Creative, her LinkedIn page also lists her as a consultant who specialized corporate training and management. Delplace was originally from Chile, but lived in Paris.
The AFP reported that Delplace was attending the Eagles of Death Metal concert Friday at the Bataclan with her 55-year-old mother, Patricia San Martin.

Mohamed Anime Benmbarek died while out with his wife at the time of the attacks. According to a Facebook post written by one of his relatives, Benmbarek's wife was in critical condition at a hospital.

Garrido was an engineer working for the Spanish public television network, TVE. Garrido, originally from Madrid, Spain, was attending the concert at the Bataclan with his wife. The Telegraph reports the two got separated in the chaos of the attacks.

Breuil, a design student in Paris, attended the concert at the Bataclan with six friends. Her brother frantically tried to find her when he heard of the attacks and only got confirmation of her death on Saturday, Time magazine reports.
“I understand the anger. I’m not angry. Maybe I will be,” her brother told Time, “but I’m not right now. I worry that we’ll make the same mistake as before, when the U.S. was attacked, by responding to violence with violence. I want to show the other cheek. Instead of responding with violent acts we have to understand what is the cause of the problem and work together to try and prevent it.”
Cedric Mauduit
Mauduit went to the concert at the Bataclan with five friends, and his coworker released a statement noting that he'd been the victim of "indiscriminate terrorism," according to the Guardian.
"Our sadness is immense," the co-worker said in the statement.
