The committees inaugurated were; judiciary, human rights & legal matters, ecology and climate change, drugs and narcotics, national identity and national population.
Others are local and foreign debts, public procurements, environment and solid minerals.

On Tuesday, November 24, the Senate inaugurated eleven committees. The Senate had already inaugurated 28 committees.

Saraki announced the chairmen of the various committees in the upper chamber on November 4, with the All Progressives Congress chairing 41 committees and the PDP chairing 24.
