A late Wednesday evening downpour in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital has led to flood that rendered many residents homeless.
Hard hit by the flood were areas including Odo-Ona, Omi-Adio, NIHORT, Apata and Gbekuba.
Some bridges linking communities were also overflown with flood, causing traffic snarls for motorists and residents.
The bridge linking NIHORT with Gbekuba and Idi-Ishin was totally submerged leading many residents in the surrounding communities stranded.
