China’s CH‑7 Stealth Combat Drone Successfully Completes

Beijing, December 2025 — China has announced the
successful maiden flight of its CH‑7 stealth combat drone, marking a
significant leap in the nation’s military aviation capabilities. The test
flight took place in northwest China and demonstrated the drone’s advanced
design, which features a flying‑wing configuration similar to U.S. and European
stealth UAVs.
Developed by the China Academy of Aerospace Aerodynamics
(CAAA), the CH‑7 — also known as the Rainbow‑7 — is designed for high‑altitude,
long‑endurance reconnaissance and surveillance missions, with the potential
to carry out electronic warfare and precision strike operations.
Officials highlighted that the CH‑7’s stealth technology
allows it to evade radar detection, making it suitable for operations in
